The Acceptance Lab was founded in August 2025 with the mission to help students discover their strengths, tell their stories authentically, and apply to programs with the confidence and support they deserve.

We provide accessible educational consulting through clear, actionable strategies and mentorship tailored to each student’s unique journey. We recognize that every applicant is different, so our approach centers on you — your goals, your strengths, and your story.

Working with The Acceptance Lab never guarantees acceptance; no consultant, mentor, counselor, or support staff of any kind can tell you definitively whether you will be accepted into a particular program.

Instead, we set our students up for success through workshops and skill building to help them feel more confident and prepared throughout their application process. My Story

As a veterinary student and college graduate, I have been in many of your shoes.

I spent 3.5 years of my undergraduate journey as a pre-medical student. I completed my required prerequisites, planned to apply to medical school, and began MCAT prep when I had the opportunity to study abroad in Kenya. My time in Kenya provided hands-on animal exposure and I realized that I found my true calling: veterinary medicine. When I pivoted from pre-med to pre-vet upon my return, I discovered that the counseling program at my University was not equipped to support pre-veterinary students.

During my pursuit of veterinary school, I felt alone, overwhelmed, and confused, without anyone to turn to. My questions outweighed my answers, and I longed for mentorship. I ultimately completed my application with the support of my family and a friend. After my application cycle, I vowed to ensure that no other student would share my experience. After being accepted into my dream veterinary school, I began mentoring students who were navigating their own application processes.

Between 2023 and 2024, I worked with a variety of pre-veterinary students from Princeton University, providing application support, advice, and guidance. Then, in 2024, I launched a social media account (@grace.the.dogtor), which has grown to over 5.5 million total views. Through this platform, I have connected with thousands of students.

I began offering complimentary services to students, which became an inspiring opportunity that allowed me to mentor and impact students located all over the world. The growing demand for these appointments made complimentary services increasingly difficult to deliver at a high quality; this ultimately led to the development of The Acceptance Lab to protect my students and the hours of dedication that I put into each of my students. We have had very high student satisfaction with both our complimentary and compensated services.

There is no magical formula for getting into veterinary school, and no one can predict with certainty whether an applicant will be accepted or rejected. While statistics and trends can provide insight into how you compare to the average accepted student, they do not capture the full picture— I know that every applicant’s journey is unique. Rather than focusing on guarantees, our goal is to help you apply strategically and with confidence, identifying and highlighting your strengths. The Acceptance Lab is here to support you through the VMCAS/TMDSAS process, strengthen your application, prepare for interviews, and evaluate areas for improvement from previous cycles.
